A Workspace That’s Beautiful Too

The first step is choosing furniture that works both for working and for fitting naturally into the home. A desk like Interdesign’s Tribeca has a sufficiently understated design to fit into a living room or bedroom, without looking out of place. The chair requires the same balance between aesthetics and function: it needs to support the body for several hours at a time, but shouldn’t have to sacrifice design to do so. Models from the Cork or Tribeca collections show that both are possible at once.
